About the Project

Moving Heroes Home is a 16-unit offering safe, inclusive, accessible and subsidized housing for those who serve and have served — including military members, veterans, peace officers, first responders, and health-care professionals. The new project will offer safe, inclusive housing, with several units supported by local charities and veteran networks. It’s a meaningful way to give back to the serving members, veterans, first responders, and peace officers who protect our communities.

Project Vision

To empower national heroes to live with dignity and stability while channeling real estate proceeds and community support into long-term housing solutions. The homes are visitable, built to universal accessibility standards, and located near trails, riverfront, and downtown Gananoque for true quality of life.

Funding Model

A portion of commissions earned by Moving Heroes-affiliated REALTORS® — many of whom are veterans and military spouses who give a portion of their commissions earned when helping families relocate across Canada. The project also receives support from private donors, business and community partners, and local organizations.
