About Moving Heroes

Moving Heroes is a national initiative that connects military members, RCMP, police services, first responders like fire departments and paramedics, peace officers, correctional service, border officers and health-care professionals with vetted REALTORS® who understand the challenges of service-related relocations.

Founded and established by veterans, the program donates a portion of business proceeds to charities supporting youth, the homeless, and those overcoming life challenges—making every move a mission that gives back.

Our founder, Martin Ouellet, serves as Director General of the Moving Heroes program. During 26 years of Service in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, Martin has built a reputation of positive attitude, boundless energy, and ability to empathize and provide support during challenging situations. Passionate of real estate, Martin has leveraged these skills and attributes to help others navigate turbulent markets for more than a decade. He strongly believes in collaboration, doing the right thing, serving a cause bigger than one-self, being grateful to life and giving back to others.

These are also the fundamental values of Moving Heroes. By using our platform of vetted relocation professionals, you too can Be the Change. Our veteran and military spouses REALTORS® and team of professionals donate a portion of their fees to collaborating charities. These charities give it back to you, our heroes, based on established criteria and urgent needs. They also provide support for local communities across Canada. By joining our Board of Directors, you can influence our way forward and affect the lives of many more heroes.
